Stuart model UC151 is a robust analogue stirrer with a glass ceramic top which has excellent chemical resistance. The surface is also very easy to clean. The white surface ensures good visibility of colour changes, during titrations for example. Powerful magnets and motor give stirring speeds up to 2000 rpm and is capable of mixing large volumes (up to 15 litres). The compact shape takes up less bench space and makes storage easier.

The units also include BioCote antimicrobial protection which reduces the presence of odor and stain causing microbes such as bacteria, mould and fungi on the product surface by up to 99.99%.  Formulated from silver ion additives, BioCote provides built-in antimicrobial protection to support a more hygienic laboratory environment.

It has an integral fitting for a retort rod and the bottom of the magnetic stirrer is shaped to allow a retort base to slide underneath the unit if required so saving further bench space.

The unit is supplied with 2 x 25mm PTFE coated stirrer bars.
