Product Description
Get your pupils talking with Chatter Clouds from Hope Education! These clever little clouds can record and replay up to 40 seconds of speech, promoting oracy and making classroom communication more accessible than ever.
Chatter Clouds are small enough to fit in the palm of your hand, but their impact and potential is truly enormous. Complete with a handy sensor on the front and a magnetised clip on the back, these clouds can travel all over your school, supporting vital language development everywhere they go. Chatter Clouds are also made from wipe-clean plastic, so pupils are free to use a dry-wipe pen to write an additional written message on their cloud. Perfect to record phonemes, words, sentences or ideas, Chatter Clouds will empower each child with confidence and enable even the quietest pupil to find their voice.
What's in the Box?
- 1 x Chatter Cloud
- 3 x AG13 batteries
- Strengthens key speech and language skills, particularly amongst the pupils who need it most, enabling children to approach their learning with a greater sense of independence and self-confidence.
- Versatile and adaptable for learning across the entire curriculum for any age group. Chatter Clouds could support a Reception pupil with their phonetic recall whilst simultaneously supporting a Year 6 pupil in the construction of a complex sentence.
- Chatter Clouds give you the opportunity to get creative with your teaching! Pupils could even use them as way to label and explain a piece of their work in a multi-sensory display.
- Use to enhance whole class teaching across the entire curriculum, particularly in writing-based lessons. Pupils can use Chatter Clouds to record their own dictation of a sentence, replaying it and self-checking as they write.
- Perfect to support children who have additional needs in the areas of speech and language, social communication or working memory. By holding onto their speech, Chatter Clouds can hugely reduce a pupil’s cognitive load.
- Use to facilitate pair work and group work whilst promoting exploratory talk. Why not incorporate Chatter Clouds as part of a Maths lesson or Science experiment where pupils record their ideas before sharing them and feeding back to the class?
